Applewood Pointe of Roseville

The business of running Applewood Pointe of Roseville is expertly managed by a combination of an experienced Housing Manager and a board of directors made up of Applewood Pointe of Roseville residents who have vast business and professional resumes.

The people who make policies are also residents that are governed by those policies.  This dedicated group that oversees the budget and financial operations of the facility are also residents that pay fees to sustain the operations.  They are cognizant that their financial policy and decisions affect their own personal budgets.

This management team had the foresight to set aside an adequate reserve for replacement fund so that replacement of assets in the future will not burden residents with massive "special assessments" so common in condominiums.

In addition to the board of directors there are several committees made up of residents that keep the ship running smoothly.

This combination of dedication, experience, knowledge and fiscal responsibility is one of the things that makes Applewood Pointe of Roseville an affordable and enjoyable lifestyle.

Jan Hanson - Housing Manager.   Jan first started her career working for the U. S. Department of Agriculture (Forest Service) as administrative assistant.   She spent her later career working with seniors.  She served on the staff of Lyngblomsten Health Care as a secretary-bookeeper, next as Assistant Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Whitehouse Good Samaritan Center.  She developed and managed the Volunteer Department at EagleCrest (Presbyterian Homes & Services)
Jan has been a committed volunteer who has provided services throughout the community and chaired numerous initiatives for several years.

Lary Haupt, President.  Lary retired after 34 years with Lockheed Martin where he held several management posts in computer sciences and metallurgy. 

 

Jean Wollan - Vice President

Jean has served on Building and Grounds committee since inception, last as chair.

Teacher in business department of three Minneapolis high schools.

University of Minnesota BS degree and graduate work.

Served as President of Women's Group at her church.

John Sweeney, Treasurer

John’s education and experience includes finance and marketing.   Before moving to Applewood in 2004 he was principal stockholder and Chief Executive Officer of a John Deere Commercial and Consumer Products dealership.  Previous experience included Vice President of Operations for St. Paul Leasing (a subsidiary of St. Paul Travelers), Vice President Division Manager for ITT Industrial Credit (a subsidiary of ITT)

Mary Nelson - Board Secretary

Mary has served as Administrative Assistant to high schools and her church.

 

Bob Morin - Board Member

Bob is a graduate of University of Minnesota, Duluth.  He spent his entire working career in management and administrative roles.

Before retiring he served as Executive Assistant to the President of Burlington, Northern, Sante Fe railroad
